Law is Meaningless

Friday, June 30th, 2006

Unless you enforce the law, the law is meaningless.

Does this mean the law is the same as nothing?

Of course not.

The typical civil lawsuit, and to a large extent criminal, simply is a court sanctioned therapy session designed to cut deals where the highest bidder wins.

Not a good setup.

There is no relevance placed on right and wrong, truth or justice, or any semblance of reality.

No wonder attorneys are out of touch with the real world.

They live in a fantasy world ruled by attorneys “enforcing” and arguing law created by attorneys for attorneys designed for maximum profit.

Peasants with pitchforks time.

Today Is the Day Everyone is Crossing the Line

Crossing the line.

What line?

The line between right and wrong, left and right, good and bad, smart and stupid, up and down, over and under, through and around, across into the next lane.

Death by Rock and Roll

Or is it trained?

We’ve all heard the infamous classical music study where plants died under the influence of rock and roll and thrived under the influence of classical.

The researcher must have been under the influence.

Productivity

Sometimes there isn’t any motivation to do anything.

What exactly is doing something anyway?

You may find that there are more questions than there are answers until such time as you realize that they are the same thing.

Productivity is quantifying valuable contribution to a greater common consciousness. For clarity’s sake lets just say that there are agreed upon values that indicate what is productive.

Exhaling is productive.

What is Meaningful?

Tuesday, June 27th, 2006

The point of life is that there is no point.

Provocative in some circles this is of course not a particularly original truth. The truth is in fact entirely unoriginal though rarely seen.

The entire meaning of life is derived from perspective. The perspective of the viewer or entity.

What is perspective?
